NORCAL A and B Playoff Schedules

As standings are finalized by 3/14, the seeds will be replaced
by the actual teams.

Three NORCAL Tier II teams advance to State Tournament

Of the five NORCAL Tier II teams, three have advanced to the
California State Tier II Championships.
- In the Pee Wee Tier
II division,
the San Jose Junior Sharks finished
first in
their division and will advance.
- In the Midget 16 Tier II division,
the San Jose Junior Sharks
qualified for their berth by
winning an elimination game over the San Diego Gulls 4-1.
- In the Midget Tier II division, the Tri Valley Blue Devils
qualified for their berth by
winning an elimination game over the
Channel Islands Riptide 4-2.
The San Jose Midgets were eliminated by the California Wave 4-1.
All of these games were part of the CAHA Tier II playing weekends
and playdown, held over the course of the season.

$500 Reward for Safe Return of Woodstock Statues

During last weekend's hockey tournament at the Santa Rosa rink, unknown
parties stole the Woodstock statues in front of the Ice Arena and
Museum. The SRJHC is offering a $500 no questions asked reward for the
safe return of the statues. Please contact
reward@santarosaflyers.com
with any information.
The statues were bolted to the bench & another statute so it did take some
doing to get them off. The Schulz family is just really hurt by this.
It was the 10th anniversary of Charles Schulz’s death on Friday,
so that made it even worse. But hopefully they will turn up.
Mite Jamboree Scheduled for March 6-7 in Santa Rosa

The 2010 Mite Jamboree will be held Saturday March 6th and Sunday March
7th at Snoopy's Home Ice (Redwood Empire in Santa Rosa, CA).
Note that this has been listed in the NORCAL calendar on a
different weekend. March 6 and 7 are the correct dates.
Sharks Ice at San Jose to host CAHA Adult Tournament

Sharks Ice will be hosting the 2010 California Adult Hockey Tournament
(presented by CAHA) from Friday April 23 - Sunday April 25, 2010.
Tournament is open to a maximum of 40 teams.
Prior to February 26,
20 spots will be held for teams from Northern California and 20
teams from Southern California. After that date, open
spots are available to any team.
