2012-2013 clinics

As you may know, the USA Coaching education process has changed and a coach may only do one seminar a year. An age-specific module is also required.

Northern California 2012 Seminars:

Level 1:

• Sunday October 14, 2012 - Sharks Ice San Jose
• Sunday November 11, 2012 - Sharks Ice San Jose
• Sunday December 2, 2012 - Oakland Ice Center

Level 2:

• Saturday October 13, 2012 - Sharks Ice San Jose
• Saturday November 10, 2012 - Sharks Ice San Jose
• Saturday December 1, 2012 - Oakland Ice Center

Level 3:

• Saturday October 13, 2012 - Sharks Ice San Jose
• Saturday November 10, 2012 - Sharks Ice San Jose
• Saturday December 1, 2012 - Oakland Ice Center

Level 2 and 3 participants are required to participate in an on-ice session. Skates, sticks, gloves and helmet are needed for the ice session. Coaches cannot use a team game or practice to miss a seminar.

Registration and payment through the USA Hockey web site is required for these clinics. Registration opens in September. Additional information may be able to be found by visiting the Coaches tab at www.usahockey.com

CAHA Screening

All coaches and other adult personnel who come in contact with minors are required by CAHA and NORCAL to submit to a background check. The CAHA screening coordiator is CAHA Director Wendy Goldstein. Her email is cahascreen@sbcglobal.net
